Lakers came out hot and jumped out to an early lead, but it was Cass City who took control halfway through the second quarter and didn't look back, winning 52-44. The Red Hawks used a 10-0 run in just 98 seconds in the second quarter to take a 14-14 ballgame and turn it into a double-digit lead that stuck for the majority of the game’s remainder.
Carter Patrick led the Red Hawks and all scorers with a 31-point performance. Cohen Sherman finished with nine points. Lakers were led in tandem by Layton Krohn and Caden Carriveau each with 12 points.
Cass City now improves to 12-0 on the season and 6-0 in the GTW, Lakers falls to 5-6, with just one win in their last six games.
